At TimMORA, we are committed to fostering a vibrant and respectful community where creators and viewers can connect, share, and engage with one another. These Community Guidelines are designed to ensure that our platform remains a safe, inclusive, and enjoyable space for everyone.
All users, whether content creators or viewers, are expected to adhere to these guidelines when using our platform. Failure to comply may result in content removal, suspension, or termination of your account.
Content Policies
Prohibited Content
The following types of content are prohibited on TimMORA:
- Sexually Explicit Material: Content that depicts explicit sexual acts, nudity intended to be sexually gratifying, or pornography.
- Violence and Gore: Graphic depictions of violence, gore, or content that glorifies or promotes violence.
- Harassment and Bullying: Content that harasses, intimidates, or bullies individuals or groups.
- Hate Speech: Content that promotes hatred, discrimination, or violence against individuals or groups based on attributes such as race, ethnicity, religion, disability, gender, age, veteran status, or sexual orientation.
- Self-Harm: Content that promotes, encourages, or glorifies self-harm or suicide.
- Dangerous Activities: Content that encourages dangerous activities that may lead to serious physical harm.
- Illegal Activities: Content that promotes or facilitates illegal activities.
- Impersonation: Content that impersonates another person or organization in a misleading or deceptive way.
- Spam and Scams: Content that is intended to spam users or scam them out of money or personal information.
- Private Information: Content that reveals someone's private personal information without permission (doxxing).
Age-Restricted Content
Some content, while not prohibited, may be age-restricted to protect younger viewers:
- Adult Themes: Content that includes mature themes, suggestive content, or strong language but does not cross into prohibited territory.
- Moderate Violence: Content with moderate violence or dramatic depictions of injury.
- Sensitive Topics: Content that discusses sensitive issues in a respectful and educational way.
Creators must properly classify their content if it falls into these categories. Age-restricted content requires viewers to be signed in and to have provided age verification.
Community Interaction
Chat and Comments
When participating in live chats or commenting on content, users must:
- Be respectful and considerate of others.
- Avoid spamming, excessive self-promotion, or disruptive behavior.
- Not engage in harassment, hate speech, or bullying.
- Not share explicit, violent, or otherwise prohibited content.
- Not share personal information about themselves or others.
Creator-Viewer Interactions
Creators and viewers should maintain respectful and appropriate interactions:
- Creators should not exploit or manipulate viewers, particularly vulnerable individuals.
- Viewers should respect creators' boundaries and rules for their content and chat.
- All parties should report inappropriate behavior through our reporting tools.
Intellectual Property
Respect for intellectual property rights is essential on TimMORA:
- Do not upload content that infringes on someone else's copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights.
- When using third-party content (music, images, video clips, etc.), ensure you have the necessary permissions or are operating under fair use principles.
- Properly attribute content when required by the original creator or license.
Monetization and Promotional Content
For content that is monetized or promotional in nature:
- Clearly disclose when content is sponsored or contains paid promotions.
- Do not engage in deceptive practices regarding monetization or promotions.
- Follow applicable laws and regulations regarding advertisements and endorsements.
- Do not promote scams, pyramid schemes, or fraudulent products/services.
Enforcement
TimMORA enforces these guidelines through a combination of automated systems and human review. We take into account a variety of factors when determining appropriate actions for violations:
- Severity: How serious the violation is.
- Intent: Whether the violation appears to be intentional or accidental.
- History: Whether the user has a history of violations.
- Impact: The potential harm or impact of the violation.
Potential Actions
Depending on the nature and severity of the violation, we may take one or more of the following actions:
- Content removal
- Warnings
- Temporary suspension of specific features or privileges
- Temporary account suspension
- Permanent account termination
- Reporting to appropriate authorities (for illegal content or activities)
Appealing Decisions
If you believe a moderation decision was made in error, you can appeal through our appeal process:
- Navigate to the notification regarding the moderation action.
- Select the option to appeal the decision.
- Provide a clear explanation of why you believe the decision was incorrect.
- Submit additional context or evidence that supports your appeal.
Appeals are reviewed by our moderation team, and you will be notified of the outcome. Decisions on appeals are final.
Reporting Violations
If you encounter content or behavior that violates these guidelines, please report it immediately:
- Use the report button on the content or user profile.
- Select the most appropriate reason for your report.
- Provide any additional context that might help our moderation team understand the issue.
We review all reports but may not be able to provide individual updates on the outcome of specific reports.
Updates to Guidelines
These guidelines may be updated from time to time to reflect changes in our platform, community needs, or applicable laws and regulations. We will notify users of significant changes through the platform and provide a summary of the updates.
